Rascal Creek grew from a simple idea: build something of our own while doing work we genuinely enjoy. I’m a Merced native, born and raised in the community my family still calls home. After years working in the corporate world, I decided it was time to take a different path—one that gave me more time with my family, more opportunity to work with my hands, and the chance to build a business we could be proud to call ours.

What began with Rascal Creek Yard & Garden is growing right along with us. Rascal Creek Handyman & Home Services brings the same care to those projects around the house that never seem to make it off the weekend list, while Rascal Creek Shoppe is our family's creative side—a place for plants, planters, home décor and other finds we love.
 
They may offer different things, but they're all part of the same Rascal Creek: local, family-owned, and built right here in Merced.

How do I schedule a service?

Use our online request form to tell us what you need and when you’d like service. We’ll contact you within 24 hours to confirm the details and get you on the schedule. Or, just call or text Tom at (209) 535-0418.
 

How far in advance should I schedule?

For routine service, we’ll work with you to find a regular day that fits our route and your needs. One-time projects are scheduled based on availability, so reaching out a few days ahead is always a good idea.
 

Do I need to be home during service?

Usually, no. As long as we have access to the areas where work is being done and any necessary instructions ahead of time, you’re free to go about your day.
 

What if I’m not satisfied with the work?

We want you to be happy with the work we leave behind. If something isn’t right, let us know as soon as possible and give us the opportunity to make it right.


Do you provide estimates?

Routine lawn service starts at our listed monthly rates for standard residential properties. Larger properties, one-time cleanups, trimming projects, and other work may require a quote based on the size and scope of the job.
 

What types of home projects do you handle?

We focus on smaller projects and everyday jobs around the home, including faucet and fixture replacements, minor repairs, maintenance, and junk hauls that tend to eat up your weekend. If a project is outside the services we provide, we’ll let you know upfront.
